How to Apply Precut DTF Transfers

Your custom size DTF transfers arrive individually precut and ready to press. Follow these starting recommendations for temperature, pressing time, pressure, and hot peel application. Always test your garment and heat press before full production.

How to Press Precut DTF Transfers

Pre-press your garment Pre-press for 3–5 seconds to reduce moisture and wrinkles. Prepare a smooth, even surface for your precut transfer.
Position the precut transfer Place the individually cut transfer onto your garment, with the clear carrier film facing upward. Align the design carefully; no gang sheet cutting is required.
Apply heat and pressure Use an appropriate starting setting of 290–320°F for 8–15 seconds with medium, even pressure. Adjust based on fabric compatibility and test results.
Hot peel and finish Peel the carrier film while hot in one smooth motion. If required, cover the print with a protective sheet and re-press for 5–10 seconds following the transfer instructions.
